Travellers may request transport from JB hotels, residences, JB Sentral, LEGOLAND Malaysia, Iskandar Puteri and other Johor locations to Singapore hotels, business addresses, the city or Changi Airport. The requested route must be suitable for the available vehicle and operating arrangement.

02 · Licensing & Compliance
Why does vehicle eligibility matter for a paid cross-border trip?
Paid passenger transport between Malaysia and Singapore is subject to operating rules. Under Singapore’s cross-border point-to-point taxi framework, the service is limited to appropriately licensed Singapore-registered and Malaysia-registered taxis. Private hire cars are not permitted to provide cross-border point-to-point services for hire and reward under that framework. Singapore’s Land Transport Authority explains these rules in its cross-border services guidance.
Eligible bus, excursion and tourism transport arrangements operate under separate rules and permits. A vehicle’s appearance or size does not establish that it can legally carry paying passengers on a particular route. Travellers should therefore avoid assuming that any private car, MPV or van can provide the same service.
LTA also warns that unlicensed cross-border services may lack appropriate insurance, affecting passenger recourse after an accident.

03 · Immigration Preparation
What should passengers prepare before reaching the checkpoint?
Each passenger is responsible for the passport and entry documents required for their circumstances. Travellers entering Singapore may also need to submit the SG Arrival Card, subject to exemptions published by Singapore’s Immigration & Checkpoints Authority.
ICA states that the SG Arrival Card should be submitted within three days, including the day of arrival, before arrival in Singapore. It is not a visa. Check ICA’s current SG Arrival Card requirements before travelling.

They may need to. The procedure depends on the vehicle, lane, checkpoint and instructions from officers. In some commercial or tour-vehicle arrangements, passengers may be directed to alight and carry their luggage through immigration or customs clearance. Other arrangements may follow a different process.

09 · Booking Flow
How do I book a JB to Singapore transfer?
